Steve Whidden PGA Press Release
July 12th 2010 - Steve Whidden earns Mster Professional Classificiation

Bradenton, FL - Local PGA Club Professional Steve Whidden successfully completed the association requirements to become a Master PGA Professional in the area of Instruction.

Whidden paved the way to becoming a Master Professional by first completing the PGA of America's Certified Professional Program. This program allows PGA Class A Members to pursue higher education in a career path of their choosing. His love for teaching and sharing the technological advances the game has seen over the last decade lead Whidden to choose Instruction as his area of expertise.

After getting certified a couple of years ago, the highest achievement of Master Professional was the next logical step for Whedden who prides himself on always providing his students the best instructional and technological information available. Becoming a Master Professional in the area of Instruction gives Whidden credentials along the lines of a PHD in the golf world. With nearly 20 years of experience teaching golf, some of his students do refer to him as a "Swing Doctor", for his unique ability to quickly diagnose what problems they are facing with their game.

Whidden currently serves as Director of Instruction at Rosedale Golf & Country Club. Rosedale, located just east of I-75 on State Rd. 70, is a semi-private club and all area golfers are welcome to contact Whidden at the Rosedale Pro Shop, Ph# 756-0004, to learn more about his lesson programs, golf schools, and equipment fitting options.
