Q: What is ROSEDALE Golf and Country Club?
A: ROSEDALE Golf and Country Club, a semi-private club, is the prime amenity of the Rosedale Golf and Country Club community, a 440 acre master planned development, one quarter mile east of I-75 on State Road 70 in Southern Manatee County bordering Sarasota County. Club facilities include a meticulously maintained eighteen-hole championship golf course, five Har-Tru tennis courts, swimming facilities and a complete clubhouse complex consisting of dining and lounge facilities, a fitness center, men's and women's locker facilities, a golf shop, golf cart facilities, bocci courts, and a tennis pro shop.
Q: What is a Semi-Private Club?
A: A Semi-Private club, as featured at ROSEDALE, combines the advantage of a private club during our area's busy winter season with low economical dues and fees for members while taking advantage of public usage during offseason months. Club memberships give the member the prestigious privilege of making athletic amenity reservations well in advance of the public.
Q: What is a Master Membership?
A: The term Master Membership is our top category of membership and is a designation given to Full Memberships, Golfing Memberships, Tennis Memberships and Social Memberships. Master Memberships are continuous year round memberships that cannot be recalled by the club in favor of issuing another membership. The initial fee for the Master Memberships is non-refundable and must be submitted at the time of membership application. Master Membership privileges continue until resignation of membership privileges by the member, sale of residence in Rosedale or termination of membership privileges as provided in the Club's Membership Plan. ROSEDALE Community Residents are given priority over non-residents in gaining Master Memberships.
Q: What is an Annual Membership?
A: The term Annual Membership is a designation given to Full Memberships and Golfing Memberships. Annual Memberships are continuous year round memberships that can be recalled by the club, on a first in last out basis, as the club gains Master Memberships and nears Membership category limits. Annual Membership requires a non-refundable initiation fee to be submitted at the time of membership application.
Q: What is Associate Membership?
A: The term Associate Membership is a designation given to Full Memberships and Golfing Memberships that grant member use of certain facilities of the Club during the months of May through December. Associate Membership requires a non-refundable initial fee to be submitted at the time of membership application. Associate Membership privileges continue until resignation of membership privileges by the member or termination of membership privileges in accordance with the Club's membership plan.
Q: What is a Social Membership?
A: Social Memberships are only available to ROSEDALE Community Residents. Social Membership privileges provide use of the dining, swimming and fitness facilities of the Club. Social Members may use the golf and tennis facilities for guest of member rates during the months of May through September. Social Membership privileges continue until resignation by the member or termination by the club in accordance with the club's membership plan.
Q: What is a House Membership?
A: The term House Membership, provides use of the dining and lounge facilities with monthly charging privileges. House Members will be entitled to participate in any social activities sponsored by the Club as well as receive club newsletters. House Members may use the golf and tennis facilities the same as non-members but may not use the swimming or fitness facilities of the Club. House members may pay guest of member rates for use of the golf and tennis facilities during the months of May through September. House Membership continues until resignation by the member or termination by the Club in accordance with the Club's Membership plan.
Q: Will members of my family be entitled to Club use under my membership privileges?
A: Yes. The immediate family of a member who selects the "Family" dues category will be able to use the Club facilities in accordance with the membership acquired by the member. The immediate family of a member who selects the "Individual" dues category will be entitled to use the club facilities in accordance with the membership acquired by the member, except that the immediate family of the member will only be entitled to the golf and tennis facilities of the club as a guest of a member and upon payment of the applicable membership fees. The immediate family of the member shall include the spouse of the member and their unmarried children twenty-one (21) years of age and under living at home or who are under the age of twenty-three (23) and are full time students. The club reserves the right from time to time, to limit use of the golf and tennis facilities of the Club by the children of the member during peak periods of play.
Q: Will my guests be able to use the Club Facilities?
A: Yes. Members will be entitled to have guests use the Club Facilities in accordance with privileges granted by the membership acquired and the General Club Rules pertaining to guests.
