Ladies Tennis Leagues

Golf & Country Club's 3.0 National Tennis League's team gather with coach Billy Rose on the steps of their tennis center displaying the plaque which commemorates their championship standing in the winter season's tri-cities tennis league. The plaque was presented to the team on April 1st at the Annual Tri-Cities luncheon/awards ceremony held at Michael's On East in Sarasota. The team credits the first place win to a strong spirit of fun and cooperation, good sportsmanship, lots of tennis clinics and their coach/pro Billy Rose. The Rosedale team, coached by tennis professional Billy Rose, includes Captain Karen Smith, Co-Captain Carol Tanner, Margot Bartler, Lisa Cairns, Bea Green, Carole Kakos, Bonnie Stoddard, Ann Marie Swartz, Alberta Schmidt, Rachel Willet, Rosemary Hewitt, and Beverly Kershaw. Missing from photo is Sandy Zimble.
